Hi! I am so glad you stopped by on your path to understanding Dyslexia and Reading difficulties. My name is Tanya Robbins, and I am a Rank 1 certified reading specialist for K-12 students. With my passion for teaching reading and experience as a 28-year veteran teacher and interventionist, I can help you and your child get the most out of her educational experience. My experience as a mom to 2 dyslexic children also gives me a parent-centered perspective when advising on educational decisions that will impact your child's educational success.
In addition, I am trained to work with elementary math students using the same multisensory methods I use when working with my reading students. These include the use of visuals, manipulatives, games, and other hands-on instructional strategies.
